PRISHTINA – Hello everyone, I am Rita Saraqi – a lifestyle, fashion and travel blogger from Prishtina, Kosovo. Well, I might imagine that some of you reading this post are wondering where Kosovo is: it is located in the Balkans, South Eastern Europe.

I could say that Prishtina is a small city where fashion does not have a great focus; nevertheless, it still has numerous designers making an impact in the fashion industry. Especially, in the last 5 years we’ve seen an increase in fashion designers and also a slight change in style when comparing one designer to another.

The city is full of fashionable youngsters expressing their styles in different and unique ways. I am not the only one stating this: In fact, I have met a lot of people visiting Kosovo from different places stating that young people in Kosovo are really stylish. One cannot find too many brand shops in Kosovo but even with the limited choices of brands and clothing shops young people here style their outfits in the best ways, which certainly makes them stand out.

I have been traveling a lot in the past years: in places like Australia, Singapore, US, Europe and that has definitely helped me develop my personal style, which I could say is quite eclectic and it might go from minimal to maximal, depending on the mood of the day.
