I Love Melbourne

MELBOURNE – I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with Melbourne’s weather, but you have to be thankful for the rain after a heat wave (and vice versa), right? This place is so unique, and I will continue to reiterate to everyone I meet exactly why we’re the most liveable city in the world, countless years in a row.

It’s the clear skies, clean beaches, and happy vibes during summer, and the rain that makes you feel like you’re in a movie running through it when it unexpectedly hits and you’re caught without an umbrella.

It’s the night life and culture – the fact that there’s always something going on in the city, and even if you weren’t a fan of the crowded space before, the more times you visit the night markets during summer, the more you could see yourself moving into an apartment there and out of the suburbs.

It’s the diversity in people, experiences, and places. It’s the kindness of strangers, the tall, interesting buildings, and the calm countryside. It’s being able to drive past a single area and point out all the places I’ve shot for my blog, literally next door to each other, but somehow looks like a different suburb altogether.

I love Melbourne, I do, but I’m getting heart eyes more and more whenever I think of tropical destinations in Europe, and experiencing real excitement and adventures in the cold, festive season in the U.S.

I love Melbourne, but this year is for travelling to beautiful new destinations, self-discovery, love, health, wonderful opportunities and great achievements. I’ve been telling my readers lately that if you believe fully in what you want and envision that it is already yours, it will come to you, so if you take anything away from this post, let it be that.

Happy 2015 ladies (and gents), make it count!
